Book Description

"Life is a Bitch and than you die!"
Is what Savanna began to believe after her mother's boyfriend stole her innocence; she was ten years old at the time. With an alcoholic, drug addicted mother and dirty cop father, who's in prison, Savanna had no one she could turn to for help. That was until she hooked up with her new best friend Mercedes. The two came up with a plan that would save them both from the hell in which they lived.
Just as fast as it took them to turn a trick, Savanna and Mercedes plan vanished quicker. With no hope for a greater tomorrow she's ready to throw up her white flag!

5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone has a story April 6, 2012

Savanna has not even began to fully live life yet and already she has dealt with situations that no woman should have to face. The sad fact is that Savanna is not even a woman yet, she is still a young child forced to fight demons because of poor choices the adults in her life are making. There are thousands of Savannas in the world today. Never judge someone based on their actions. You cannot understand their walk, if you don't know their story. Savanna is a strong trooper though. Will she rise out of the hell she is in? 1 click today and find out!!

I liked this book. It was just a little to short but now I see you should read this book before the Salty series then go right into the Salty. All these books are page turners. I really enjoyed every last second!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not understanding?????? April 25, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Why so short? I guess it was just an introduction to who Savannah was and became. Just too short seems like a waste.

1.0 out of 5 stars Short story doesn't even describe it.
I should of paid attention to how many pages this story was. Most of her story was told in the Salty books. Which I might say go read because they are a great read. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, quick read
This was good, but I had already learned most of her story from the Salty series. If I read this first, might have been more worthwhile.

Aleta Williams writes to entertain and inspire. She grew up in Watts, California, a small city located in South Central Los Angeles. She currently resides in Seal Beach, California with her husband and three children. Writing for her is a hobby, a stepping stone to get to where God is taking her. She believes, her calling is to become an inspirational/motivational speaker for teens and woman who struggled with an abnormal child hood just as her. At six years old Aleta witnessed her mothers' murder. With no one to help her get through the tragedy she used anger as a defense mechanism to help her deal with hurt, pain, and loneliness. Aleta later joined a gang, which lead her into becoming a teen mother. Aleta, does not believe being a teen parent is the norms and doesn't condone it, but she believes her first born was God way of saving her life. It wasn't until she gave birth to her daughter that the fear of leaving her alone in a world she thought was cruel that she began to change her life around. Aleta finished school. She became a banker for 11yrs, until she took her gift to write as an outlet to enjoy life. Aleta has eleven bestsellers and three collaborations.
