Jonathan wants us to experience the story of his life through this CD, to relive with him, his ups and downs, his highs and lows. Well, he has definitely accomplished what he set out to do. I felt as if I was beside him every step of the way. If you're a fan of Jonathan's, you won't be disappointed. If you've never listened to him and you're curious about his music, take a chance, I know you'll love it!

Jonathon is very cool as always. A passioante sound with a bit of Stevie Wonder overtones. As always Jonathon delivers and doesn't let the audince down . I had the good fortune to hear him this summer at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara Jazz Concert Series - a small intimate venue that alloweed the audience to get up close and personal with the man. Can't wait to hear this new album live next week in Temecula. Lets just hope that Jonathon stay true to his calling!

I fell in love with this CD. JB's lyrics have always stirred my soul and these tunes were no different. One of his best! Keep it coming, JB.

This CD is incredible. I'm amazed it didn't get more attention than it did. Well-produced and mixed, and of course, sung and played by one of the masters. Nice string arrangements by David Diggs!

Jonathan continues to amaze me. As a long time fan, I must say that he is passionate, humble, and true to himself. Sure he is a wonderful love ballad singer and music maker, but what would his music be like without that deep rooted creativity that comes from our homeland...Africa. Continue on, sharing that vision, passion, and inspiration that you know best. Both from love and heritage. Remember fans, he is not Luther Vandross.

This is one of his best. A must-have for any Jonathan Butler fan! Each one of his albums is unique and they keep getting better.

JB is simply a musical genius. I literally own most of JB's albums but this particular one is my favorite. I can't seem to stop playing it over and over, the music on offer is spiritual and uplifting. I can't help but feel a sense of calm whenever i listen to this album before i leave for work and even after a hard days work. I would encourage any fun who does not have this album to quickly get one. The price though is a bit steep but in the end it is worth it. I happened to attend JB's concert in Kampala last year and his live performances are equally out of this world.

Once again I think this is one of JB's excellent works. I am a great admirer of JB, and really understand where his music is coming from - especially "Can't Let Go". I hope he will continue to make beautiful music about the homeland.

I am the biggest fan of Jonathan Butler however, this CD is not his best work. "Do You Love Me" as well as some other work in the past has been so outstanding that I was really disappointed with "Story of Life".

I was expecting more great ballads like "Do Love Me", "Life After You", and "Lost in Love".

As usual Jonathan is wonderful his vocals are a refeshing change from the radio lets all sound the same music. Ive already got two nabors hooked on him and my 5 year old sons asks me to play this cd ever time we get in the car.Keep on making them like this Jonathan and you have our vote for life.
