Book Description

August 25, 2003
In M., Maria Isabel Pita tells the truth about being a beautiful, intelligent and intensely sensual woman who refuses to fall into any politically correct category. She is not a feminist, and yet she is fiercely independent. She is everything but a mindless sex object, yet she is willingly, and happily, a masterful man’s love slave. M is erotically submissive and yet also profoundly secure in her own being, and she wrote this account of her ascent into submission for all the women out there who might be confused and frightened by their own contradictory desires just as she was. M is the true story of the author’s first shockingly kinky and profoundly instructive year with the man of her dreams. Her vividly detailed story makes it clear we should never feel guilty about daring to make our deepest, darkest longings come true, and serves as living proof that they do.

1.0 out of 5 stars Save money and time..., July 26, 2005
This review is from: The Story of M: A Memoir (Paperback)
and don't purchase this book. It's not even worthy of one star!

The book is primarily about the conceited, bratty and clueless author. Allow me to elaborate on this:

- conceited: repetetive to the extreme, the author again and again underlines her own and her master's extreme beauty, and how all other people they encounter seem to fall short of this standard. Regardless of whether this might be true (it's not, you can check for yourself at the authors homepage) it's certainly boring.

- bratty: although the author at times admit to being "in training", she nevertheless more often than not portrays to be the perfect slave in her own mind. In truth she reveals more or less behaviour that would never have been accepted over time from any of the Masters I have befriended over years in the lifestyle, and in any circumstance been severly punished in the short term to discourage the same behaviour. I think she's being punished once in the book - for lying - after having hidden photos that in her mind does not reflect her true beauty! (sic!)
Extreme focus on herself is the sole reason why numerous encounters are wrecked.

- clueless: don't kid yourselves folks. This book is about swinging. I assume not even newcomers to the BDSM-scene would find very much related to the BDSM-lifestyle here. The "slave" has little clue about what being a slave indeed entails. I will not even comment on the "master" - let's just say that the "slave" in question here edited and approved the slave-rules herself. Anyone interested in a serious BDSM-relationship would be grandly deluded about the realities should they consider this book a guide.

5.0 out of 5 stars As hot as it gets!, July 23, 2005

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: The Story of M: A Memoir (Paperback)
"It's not easy being a hot-blooded Cuban slave." Enchanted from her first meeting with the masterful Stinger, M sheds her inhibitions with the speed of lightning to become an enthusiastic exhibitionist, eager devotee of oral and anal sex, and willing subject of bondage and discipline. She does resist some delicious opportunities for bisexual play, but warms to the possibilities eventually. She also struggles mightily with her intense jealousy as Stinger exposes her to regular swinging parties (despite her own appetrite for hot black men). The sex scenes are nearly nonstop, superbly graphic, and passionately unashamed. A superb tale.

1.0 out of 5 stars Can I leave less than 1 star?, April 2, 2006
This review is from: The Story of M: A Memoir (Paperback)
This book is utter tripe. If you're interested in BDSM relationships, find another and don't waste your money. It has nothing to do with a realistic m/s relationship, and frankly, the woman, Misassa, is not a slave, she's arrogant, narcissitic and as pompous as they come. The "slave rules" she quotes were ripped right out of a piece I read on the net 12 years ago.

Unless you're a complete masochist, leave this book alone. It's painful to your mind.
