This cd is one of the best ones that I have heard in a very long time. Not only does Mario express his emotions but he does it in a way that makes you want to fall in love all over again. Mario proves that he is not afraid to show his feelings. If there is one slow jam cd that should be brought it should be this one. You will not be disappointed.

This cd from mario jsut shows how much of a talent he is in front of all the work he did with badboy and various other artists like Lil Kim, Ginuwune and others. If you want to talk about an album that has slow jams galore with a different twist and that you will feel becasue its different...then this is the cd. Songs like "think about you" and "Arouse" just sum up what I mean. There are some upbeat songs but overall everything is set for the "love" or "Bedroom" mode. Dont sleep on mario......he is another badboy hitman that is about to take his place on the front stage.

Mario Winan, well really what can you really say but that his cd was one of a milion cd today that is being slept on. This is truly one of the best cd's I've heard in a long time. From beginning to end, this cd fills your mind, takes your heart and mind places that gives you a sense of allowing yourself to experience alot of phacets of love and understanding. I also believe that this artist will no doubt make it big (Blow Up!) with his style of writting and his vocal range.

Truly one to have in your collection if you're a romantic type of person. Overall 5 stars really doesn't even scratch the surface of this master piece.

This is without a doubt one of the best albums of 1997. However it got more slept on than silversheets. I don't think I've ever felt a collection of songs as much as I did with these. This album is simply for everyone who's ever been in love. Mario's got a wonderful voice and he's writing the most beautiful lovesongs. They revolve around mostly simple and sometimes stereotypical phrases. But what makes Mario stand out amongst all the other Soul/R&B-albums released by the dozen is his way of them sound original and fresh. The music goes straight to your heart without taking that unnecessary route through your brain. That's how great music should be. When I picked up the album I was really heartbroken and Mario described my feelings better than I could have myself. Every line was true.

I highly recommend this album to everyone who has ever experienced both the ups and downs of this thing love.

Thank you Mario for making one of my favourite albums ever. I'm dying for another one.

I bought this album out of sheer curiosity. I heard the name Mario Winans around the industry, but I thought he was just a producer until I saw him singing in a video recently. I later found out that he is a memeber of the famed Winans family, so of course he can sing! Not only can he sing he can write. His songs are so powerful. After listening to them I wanted to feel what he felt. I highly recommend this album-Don't sleep.

I first listened to this album in 1999 and it has been on the top of my all time favourite R&B list since. His music is very original and he did most of the production himself! This is a definite must buy for the R&B enthusiast looking for some serious uplifting and soothing music. Highly recommended.

Still eagerly awaiting a follow up Mario...

I had this cd for about six months. Loved it from front to back. The whole cd is TIGHT! My husband (wanna' be thug/gangsta') heard the cd and stole it. If he likes the cd trust me that is the kind of endorsement PR departments dream of getting. Believe me this is a cd you can seduce a women with and still win her heart.

I recently bought this album after seeing the video for "I Need a Girl PT II." I wanted to find out what was so special about Mario "Yellowman" Winans. I heard his name all over the industry as a producer but I didn't know he could sing. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only can he sing, he can produce and write songs that bring your heart back to love. I didn't know that there were still male R&B artist who could write songs about the joy and pain of love rather than the gratification of sex. This formula works. I highly recommend this album.

I had this cd until my husband heard it and put it in his cd changer in his car and never returned it. I absolutely think this should be one of the artist getting constant air-time but as usual true talent goes un-noticed. Don't let this one pass you by. The lyrics are real the music is beautiful. I am buying another cd for myself because I feel this is an essential for MY collection. :)

I heard this cd on this site last week and I didn't know that he did an album in 1997!!! Funny how this cd is better than "hurt no more", and the r&b style fits today's music!!! A must have for r&b fans and for the people who like to roll to the beach with the top down!!
