Toy Story Pull String Talking Jessie Doll

My daughter adores this doll, which is true to form from the movie. The hair is plastic, which I didn't expect. This, however, does not detract from the charm of the doll. I believe she has eight expressions and good sound. The doll received four instead of five stars because the hat does not stay put no matter what, and it is a bit pricey for what you actually get. My daughter is inseparable from her Jessie doll. . . at least for this month.

I bought the Jessie doll for my daughter's 5th birthday. She loves Toy Story II and seen Jessie at Disney. She loves her.
The design of the doll is very close to the one in the movie. My daughter loved it. She talked, confided and cared for the doll like it was human.
This lasted for about two months. I think the reason for short attachment is:
A) The hat cannot stay on. I wanted to put a dab of glue but my daugther thought it would "hurt" Jessie
B) The hair is plastic and my daughter wanted to know what happend to Jessie's hair. I think a fiber product would do better for the hair.
C) The voice box is difficult to understand and hear. It is not very clear and the volume is a bit muffled.
D) The exclamations from Jessie should be from what she says in the movie. Children know what they hear and the voice should have the same inflections as in the movie by the original person.I paid a lot of money for this type of toy. It is definetly overpriced.

My granddaughter is a major Toy Story fan. She had been asking for a Jessie doll, so we got it for her for her 4th birthday. She loves it! A few days after she recieved it, I was at her house and saw she had been pulling Jessie, her Woody doll, and her Belle doll together in a wagon. It was so cute, she had her own pretend storyline going. Any little girl who loves Toy Story should be happy with this doll.

Shortly before my 2 year old Granddaughter's baby sister was born, she got hooked on Toy Story 2. Her favorite character was "Cowgirl named Jessie". A few days before the birth of her baby sister, I decided to find her a Jessie doll as a big sister gift. The doll arrived just in time and she absolutely loved it. She carries it with her most of the day. The doll is the perfect size for little hands and has proved to be very durable. The only down fall is that Jessie's hat doesn't stay on. I would highly recommend this doll. I'm sure other Toy Story characters will be on my Christmas shopping list.

My 3 year old daughter loves Toy Story, and already had a Woody doll. She's been absolutely thrilled with Jessie. Now Woody and Jessie go everywhere with her. The doll has plastic hair, not yarn, and the hat does not stay on long. Sarah can't get the hat to stay on at all, I have to put it on, and it doesn't stay put as long as Woody's hat. Still, Sarah does not mind any of this - she loves Jessie, and I'm so happy I could find a Jessie doll for our Toy Story collection. Sarah doesn't really care for the other accessories (lasso, rabbit) but I would still say the toy was worth the price, for the amount of time it's played with.

The doll has a wonderful color to it, it is kinda small. The hat is easy to stay on. I love the product

Both of my sons love all the toy story figures but Jessie is my son's favorite. He sleeps with her almost every night, he is 2 1/2. It goes great with the Woody doll that is the same size.

My little boy LOVES Toy Story 2. His eyes lit up when he saw the Jessie doll. She's cute and and he loves to play with her and Woody. Worth the money!!

My daughter loves Jessie! Her voice from pull string sounds great and she looks just like her. Good quality except her hat does not fit properly we cannot get it to stay on. Though my daughter is a little disappointed, she still loves Jesse.

This was a birthday present for my daughter. I personally love the simplicity of the toy and the pull string hints of days gone by. My daughter loves it because Jessie has "come to life" from the movies and is her playmate. Great toy!
