Great when your preschooler wants to hear a story over and over
These readers are impressive and helped entertain my three year old for a while when I needed some time to clean. He loves having stories read to him and I was short on time that day. I was impressed at how it knew which page to read to him. It did have trouble reading some pages after he ripped one though, so it's not as durable as I would hope. But if your little...

Doesn't work with my Storyreader
This did not work with our Storyreader. The cartridge was large and regtangular where as ours works with a smaller, rounded top cartridge. The spiral binding did not snap into place. I suppose this would work with an older version of a Storyreader but I saw no information that would indicate such.

But if your little one is careful with books, then it's not too bad.

It was not indicated by the website that this toy requires a large plastic and electronic device to use the books.
