My parents bought this for my son who is 3 1/2 and loves both movies Toy Story and Toy Story 2. After we got him the Buzz Lightyear doll he asked for the Woody character. He played we these for a couple of weeks then asked for the Jesse doll. He's been re-creating scenes from the movie including parts where they drop lifeless into their boxes, except my son throws them lifeless. I squirm thinking he's gonna break one of these dolls but they've kept up so far (he's had them a few weeks now, 8 days with the Jesse doll) and they've kept up well; Buzz is losing some of his paint but my son could care less. Personally, I think the Jesse doll is true in detail to the movie and has the same funny sayings as well.

We already have Woody and he has held up well for almost a year. Within 2 weeks of purchase, her head is almost falling off; the stitching that keeps it attached to the body is not holding up!
We have two daughters and this has not been abused; although Woody in the hands of our 2 year old has been, and he is still going strong.
I am going to contact Amazon/Disney Store (not sure of the process since we purchased it through Amazon, but it clearly shipped from the Disney Store) and see what can be done. My daughter loves this and is quite upset that her head is falling off!
Shipping to Canada was extremely fast (a few days) and arrived before the stated "expected delivery date".
Have made several Amazon purchases and this has been the only disappointment so far.

My granddaughter and niece love this doll above all others. I bought these last Christmas when they were both age 5. Now at age 6, neither will sleep or travel without Jessie! The cloth body is cuddle and sleep-pal friendly. Like Raggedy Ann, hers is a face endearing to little girls, and obviously comforting. I do sometimes have to hunt the hat (removable), but she is overall a well-constructed toy. Voice box still works after a year. I highly recommend!

Doll appears well made. My daughter wanted Jessie to go with her older TOY STORY dolls. This doll is not at the same scale as her others but she still loves her.

We got this for our 4 year old's birthday. And she loves it. Its been played with everyday, and still seems like new.
Its not as great as the Talking Woody, not as many expressions, but still pretty awesome.

I bought this doll for my daughter who is almost 3, she is very gentle and was super excited to have Jessee by her side. She is an avid fan of TS 1 2 and 3. We got Jesse right within the shipping window and both were super excited to open it, however, it took just under 20 minutes to get her out of the packaging... VERY AGGRIVATING (I wasw trying to be careful so I would not damage her)! She was strapped in there like she was being shipped to the moon and back on top of the space shuttle. When I finally got her out, my daughter pulled the string once and then twice and she stopped talking. So I had to take her insides apart and luckily was able to find that the wire for her talking mechanism was broken... The sauder was obviously not done well considering it only took 2 pulls to pop the wire free. I was able to sauder the wire back together and so far so good and really, how many people usually have a saudering iron at home to fix this issue themselves?!!? Its only day 2.... so we will see if she lasts. Also, her hat is way to big. It wont stay on her head and it is quite heavy for the doll in the first place. Disney probably should have thought that through a little more. Overall her clothes look like they are made well and the first thing my daughter said when she saw her was "she has nice pants".... so cute. I wouldnt buy this doll online again for fear of breakage. I would rather treck to the store and buy it so I know I could return her if she broke again. I hate waiting weeks after paying for something to just have to return her and wait more weeks to have a new one back all the while dissappointing my little kiddo.

If your child goes nuts for Toy Story...this will make it's day!
Unbeliavably true to the "real" Jessie character, this doll has every detail in place: even the word Andy on the boot sole!
Perfect match or companion for the Woody figure. Jessie has a pullstring to which she yells and goes Yihaa along with other of her phrases. Clothes and all her parts look strong enough to withstand the abuse of a kid in love with it's doll.
Hope your kid enjoys it as much as ours does!

My boys love to play with Jessie. I love that her hair is made of yarn instead of plastic.

My little girl loves this doll, just loves her. She seen it in the store my older kids were playing with it and she smiled so big. She is 5 1/2 months old, she kisses the doll and smiles and laughs its so cute. At the store we looked at the doll was 35$ i got it her at amazon for 20$ new in the box. It was a great buy and an excellent choice.
