This Kindle version of "Story of a Soul" is an obsolete (early 20th century) translation into English of a version of St. Therese's classic autobiography heavily edited by her sister Pauline, who made about seven thousand changes to what St. Therese wrote. Since 1956 Therese's authentic manuscripts have been available. To read them, choose the paper edition: Story of a Soul: The Autobiography of St. Therese of Lisieux, Third Editiontranslated by Fr. John Clarke, OCD and published by ICS Publications in Washington, D.C.
