The Story of The Tooth Fairy,
By ITSFM@aol.com (Boulder, CO) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Story of the Tooth Fairy (Paperback)
This was an entertaining approach to the story of the tooth fairy. One that does not entail nor promote buying your children tons of presents for lost teeth, or giving large increments of money. A coin for a tooth! Truly a joy to read with beautiful artwork throughout. My 5 year old loved it. We have given this book as gifts to her friends, both male and female, (who are entering "tooth losing" age!) along with a homemade fairy fabric pillowcase with a tiny pocket closed with a ribbon...for their prized tooth and coin exchange. This book is one to keep to pass along to the grandchildren.

Magical, just right,
This review is from: The Story of the Tooth Fairy (Paperback)
My 3.5 year old had to have a tooth extracted this week and this story has been really lovely to share with her in anticipation of the tooth fairy's visit. For us, it was great that there wasn't too much focus on the process of losing the tooth. The story touches the heart of the tooth fairy myth -- magic and innocence. It really helped make the coin exchange special. Initially, my daughter was very focused on how much money she was going to get and what she could buy with the money. after reading this story, she is, as she should be, eagerly awaiting the fairy's visit and anticipating what kind of magical fairy coin she will receive. She could care less how much money it is.

Charming, Sweet, Enchanting,
By Angela (Tampa Bay, FL USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Story of the Tooth Fairy (Paperback)
This enchanting book was beautifully illustrated and it was written with such charm, as well. Since my youngest daughter is still losing her teeth and my eldest daughter is about to lose her last tooth, I often find myself reflecting on the books that have really touched them... the ones they love to read with you and want to read to their children. This book is bound to be a classic bedtime story. If you are looking for a magical story of the tooth fairy, you will find your children going absolutely over the moon for this one!
