This review is from: The Story is True: The Art and Meaning of Telling Stories (Hardcover)
This book is too excellent to not have rave reviews on Amazon. Though it is written by a University of Buffalo professor, the writing is conversational, down-to-earth, and utterly engaging. The stories--about 9/11, O.J. Simpson, as well as the stories we tell daily--are examined in sweet depth. The pursuit of elusive truth is fascinating enough; the writing itself will carry you on the journey of the story, as it should be. Enjoy. |
