Book Description

John Wesley Hardin was the means s.o.b. that ever lived. He shot and killed a man in a rooming house for snoring too loud. He hated Yankees, especially the Yankee soldiers that coddled the southern Negro slaves. John was named for John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church.

Took about 6 minutes to read, if that. The writer is choppy with no style and not the greatest grammar. The beginning is a complete rehash with a couple of internet photos, one of which he admits has been doctored. He skips vast areas that are known and documented. This is nothing more than a very brief synopsis of Hardin's bio.

The one saving grace (I guess) was at the end there is a collection of Hardin's own recollections from some of his escapades.

If you're looking for something new or well written, not here. If you want to hear Hardin's version of some fights and not have to work through his own self-serving auto-bio, I'd say it was worth it. 99 cents...hey... I only feel cheated out of about 49 cents.

Don't even think about trying the free sample: all you get is a picture of Hardin you can bring up on Google image search and a poorly written paragraph.
