Disappointing performance,

I purchased 3 of these books as a birthday gift for my grand daughter's first birthday and the performance was very disappointing. Despite replacing batteries in all 3 of the books they still did not work correctly. At times they would work perfectly and then not work at all. Eventually, after 2 weeks, I ended up returning all 3 books.
