Editorial Reviews

CD reissue of this 1982 album from the Bluegrass legend, a collaboration with Tom T. Hall. Earl Scruggs is best known as the banjo playing half of Flatt & Scruggs. Earl issued many solo albums throughout the 1970s, many with his group, The Earl Scruggs Revue, which featured Randy and Gary Scruggs.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is as good as it gets., March 25, 2010

I had this on a cassette tape many years ago and it was my favorite of all my tapes until my player ate it. Since then I have been hoping that they might reissue it on a compact disc but eventually gave up hope. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the reissue on Amazon and immediately ordered a copy. I can hardly wait until it arrives. If you like bluegrass or classic country this disc is a must have.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Release, June 7, 2011

This is good stuff. Any Earl is great in my opinion. My only complaint is it sounds a bit dated. It has that early 80's overproduced country sound that I sometimes have a hard time enjoying, but overall it is still a fine release.

I had been looking for this album on CD for years and I have finely got it. My old tape was about buggered. Thanks for the good service and a very good CD.
