I took a Children's Speaking and Listening course for my graduate work and this book was the chosen text. It was not only an easy read but it was filled with many ideas and activities to promote storytelling. I highly recommend this book to teachers and to those who are storytellers

This is the best book I have read on storytelling.
The book explores all aspects of choosing and presenting (reading) a story to students and how to encourage reading and writing through it. If you work with children - or want to encourage your own children - this is a must to read to improve your techniques. |
