5.0 out of 5 stars Review for Straight Freak Ticket
Amazing album from an incredibly amazing (and underrated) band. Surely, the best or one of the best albums from this guys. Definitely a worthing purchase, as we don't have too many bands like them nowadays.

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing major label release from one of the great bands of early 90s Seattle scene
This album lacks the energy and sharpness that defined Love Battery's first three excellent records, Between the Eyes, DayGlo, and the murkily produced, but still great Far Gone. Has a couple of high points here, like Fuzz Factory and Harold's Pink Room, but mostly a lifeless set from an otherwise great, great band.

When I bought this album the only song I had heard by Love Battery before was "Between The Eyes". I bought this album without listening to the clips of the songs or anything. I just knew that it was going to be awesome. Straight Freak Ticket, coming from a band from the Seattle grunge scene is surprisingly up beat and happy but still an awesome experience. Every song on the album is awesome though I would say that my favorites are "Brazil", "If It Wasn't Me", and "Nehru Jacket".
