This is one of the best Straight Talk phones available. The screen is a little larger than the one on my S2, and the Android version is newer. As with all Straight Talk phones, cell reception is dependent on which carrier that model is attached to. In this case, the Straight Talk Galaxy S3 uses Sprint towers, so it's a great choice if you have good Sprint reception in your area. If you don't have good Sprint reception in your area, I recommend you get the Straight Talk Galaxy S2, which uses AT&T towers.

This is even in the title "straight talk" all they do is send you a randomized carriers phone... the first of which i recieved is not compatable with Straight Talk!! the second of which i was promised a SIM card with it and received nothing but the phone and a charger (LG at that). Asked for a full refund and am going to send the phone back in the morning (currently sunday)

Love this phone. Just make sure you get an LTE version so that you can switch networks if necessary. I went on vacation to the US Virgin Islands and was only able to use one phone because one version had LTE/CDMA networks; the other only had CDMA.

I can not write this as a review, simply I'm correcting others, this IS a VERIZON WIRELESS phone. Not a Sprint phone. I asked, they told me at Wal mart. So, for you stating it's Sprint, you're wrong! I haven't gotten one yet, but, I'm not buying mine online.
