A Good Promising Debut,

Today valient Thorr released their 3rd full length album entitled LEGEND OF THE WORLD i went to get it this afternoon but the only one the store had received my friend had allready picked up.
I only recenty found this album on ebay and bought it for much cheaper than the $25 they are asking for here. Musically this album deserves a 4 star rating but due to the sloppy production and the feeling of a rushed recording it looses a star. Overall this is a very good album and any Valient Thorr fan would love to have it. There are times though when the band is all over the place lyrically but thats something i love about this band. Time Zone is a weird song but it sounds awesome. My favorite track may even be the piano only outro song entitled The Balled Of The Morning Star. After hearing that I have been looking at pianos and keyboard. After this album Donn Thorr left the drums and was replaced by Lucian Thorr who i think is a better drummer but Lucian sounds really cool on this album. Jinn Thorr Has left the band since also to be replaced by Oden Thorr. I beleive Oden to be a better guitarist but when Jinn left so did the keys (as of now at least). |
