Gotta Have This Book,
This review is from: Strange But True: From the Files of FATE Magazine (Paperback)
This was one of the best books I have ever read. I couldn't put it down. The stories were so descriptive it felt like you actually witnessed it. I have always been fascinated with aliens, ghosts, the paranormal and the supernatural. If you are like me then this is definately the book for you!

A Perfect Title,

This review is from: Strange But True: From the Files of FATE Magazine (Paperback)
I'm a skeptic about many things, but some things just can't be explained or ignored. This book grabbed me and made me wonder about some events in my own life that were both profound and beyond explanation. I hope they write a follow-up! Skip Knowles

This is a very well written collection of short stories. Some are haunting while others are inspiring. The stories are from all over the US and are quite varied in content: UFO sightings, premonitions of death, fortune tellers, ghosts, out of body experiences, etc.
I like to save money and rarely purchase books, but highly recommend buying this particular one. It's well worth the $9 and a creepy companion on those dark and stormy nights :)

A fantastic book that's hard to put down. The tales within are chilling. I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to those who like ghost stories or tales that are just plain weird.

Many stories are hearsays, or, maybe, made up. If you read this book, do it for fun, don't take it seriously. Interesting anyway.

Great collection of a wide array of paranormal occurrences, most of which are very intriguing and satisfying. Some of my favorites include "Ghost Highway," "Prove It to Me," "Back in Time," "Saved By My Double," "Something Pushed Me," "Cross My Palm With Silver," "Fated to Marry," "Mercy by Mail" and "Message in Chalk." I have read a *lot* of paranormal compendiums over the years, and this is one of the few in which practically every story sparks the thrill of the unknown.

This book covers it all, from a "real people" prospective. Some of the stories seem extreamly far fetched and honestly they may have you thinking, ok this is just a collection from nuts. But to be honnest, I think these people had courage, to write down what most in modern social circles think as pure bull these folks felt COMPELLED to share the stories. They belive this and there is little doubt it happened. Its hard for people to share stories... in the old days this was acceptable but with the advent of Tv word of mouth, and old stories have fallen by the way side. People need a place to share the more odd of the world. And comming from a person who has seen the fair share and been questioned by otherwise rash adults- I say READ this. Esp if you are the one of many who shares rather behyond science exp.

Weird book, not really what I expected,
This review is from: Strange But True: From the Files of FATE Magazine (Paperback)
Although the stories in this book were very interesting, at times i felt bored in its presentation and explanations within the stories. Don't get me wrong, this is a solid book but i would of scored it higher had the provided some photographs and used a third person point of view to tell the stories instead of a first person view since these stories where basically written in to the original FateMagazine as a letter.

This book is really one of the best if not THE BEST book I've ever read.
I have read it twice and will re-read it in my future, over and over. What a fun read. To the author I say "Thank You" for writing this. It is fascinating and well written. If only she would write more books like this. I would definitely buy.
