Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Respected scientist Dr. Henry Jekyll engages in some bizarre behavior that baffles his friends, as his experiments lead to the appearance of the destructive and evil Edward Hyde.

About the Author
Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) spent his early years in poor health, confined to the nursery most of the time. He credited these years with helping him to bring an uncommon understanding of the real and imaginary worlds of childhood play to all of his later writing. His other books include Treasure Island and Kidnapped.

5.0 out of 5 stars We couldn't stop reading it!, November 7, 1999
By A Customer
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was a book about good versus evil. I liked that Dr. Jelyll found out that he was doing cruel and evil things and tried to stop. The letters that the characters wrote made you want to keep on reading and not stop. Very suspenseful! Excellent!
