Been listening to Acoustic Junction live and on CD for over 8 years and have seen them grow and mature into an amazing band. Strange Days is definitely a highlight to there recording career. AJ as widely know. This album has all the range of what AJ is. Soft ballads from REED and piano from Tim as well as rocking numbers that highlight the drums from Tom and the amazing bass from Curtis. If AJ is passing through your town pls do yourself a favor get this album play it loud and see them live you will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars sweet songwriting, March 24, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Strange Days (Audio CD)
This is a brillant album. Great songwriting and musicianship. Reminds me a little of Van Morrison meets the Beatles. Has great guest appearances by renowned drummer, Kenny Aronoff; guest vocal by Graham Nash and Acoustic Junction themselves. The wait was worth it. Thank you! I highly recommend this album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Last stand of AJ Acoustic Junction, February 2, 2009
This review is from: Strange Days (Audio CD)
GREAT GREAT GREAT CD
Lots of famous artist helped on this compilation!
1. Everyheart Great lil' twang on this one, if you're not tappin your toes or slappin your lap then you must have a medicial disorder. This song is addicting!
2. Melt: Actually co-written by Nicholas Cage (yea him), this song grows on you, but the lyrics are deep enough for every guy to understand.
3. Strange Days: A little folky/country and a great all around song to sing along to. Features Kenny Aronof on Drums.
4. Goodbye world: Gotta feel a little something on this break up song. Great harmonies by the band. You know when T-Bone Wolk plays on it it must be good.
5. Green - A great voice by Reed Foehl brings you along the whole song, grab your partner and dance close on this on. With Kenny Aronof back for paying for this one as well. Must be a stong listen!
6. Burden - Frankly just a masterpiece when it comes to songwriting and music. This song crecensos big, and never drops off. Always one of those I sing as loud as I can! It's a hard deep song.
7. Long way til tomorrow: Kenny's back on this as well. Another good song to hold the significant other and sway back and forth to the beat.
8. Oh Me Oh My: Another foot tappin lap slappin tune with a great beat.
9. Contender: Very remincent of the Beatles "while my guitar gently weeps", never the less a great mellow tune to reflect back on your yesteyear.
10. Yesterday's come and gone: Great piano song, this is one of those songs you'd love to play if you played piano. Soulful and makes you think. Reed's voice hits mastery here.
11. Guide my boat: T-Bone's back for this epic song. Great melody and trance like guitars. There's no way to not sing along to this, can even put in a little "Hey Jude" on the back if you desire. Just a great powerful song overall.
12. Dancin for you. Can you believe Graham Nash overheard this song while Reed was playing on the street warming up and wanted to be a part of it?? Well he did and this is your product - Dancin for you. A great mellow tune with simply perfect harmony betwee them.
13. It isn't theres: Strength and courage make the song here. It' so refletive you cannot build on this and kow that you've done something right! Keep those convicitons, have courage with those confictions!
14. Fade to black" a low closer with a twist, Great Reed Foehl -lyrics
Tim Ropeer -Harmonica
Tom Deihl -Percussionist

One of he better CD' Order on Amazon for a good dea!
