5.0 out of 5 stars IMPRESSIVE...A GREAT CD, August 8, 2002

There is no other way to put it...this is the best soundtrack i have ever listened to. One of the cool aspects in that all the songs (except the Jericho One song and the Lords Of Acid song) appear on the soundtrack in the order the appear in the film...so if you've seen the movie, you go through this cd going "this is when Lenny was watching Faith perform" and "this is where Lenny and Mace kiss at the end" and for a fan of the movie, that is kinda cool. The only flaw of it (that's only worth a mention) is that after you hear Lori Carson's song near the end, you don't want to listen to anything else. It's a great soundtrack to a great film.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fall in the Light, April 7, 2005

This review is from: Strange Days: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
This soundtrack doesn't get full marks because it is missing a song or two that would have made it complete. However it does justice to the feel of the movie because of Jerico One and juliette lewis. I have never been so moved by a kiss in a film as i was by the scene that plays "Fall in the Light". When I hear it each time after i am just as moved. This cd helps me to carry that feeling wherever i go.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent CD!, January 17, 2000

The movie itself was wonderful, but the "Strange Days" soundtrack deserves special recognition. It's a real gem of an album-- one you simply cannot afford to miss.

I really appreciated the variety of this CD, from hard, heavy rap to ambient New Age. Too many soundtracks stick to just one kind of songs. Not this one. There's a little bit of everything, so you're sure to have a favorite even if you don't like some of them.

Which brings me to the next point: if you get this CD for no other reason, get it for Lori Carson's "Fall in the Light". It's simply breathtaking, and the lyrics are beautiful. It's probably the best song on the soundtrack, followed closely by Deep Forest's tracks and "Overcome". Juliette Lewis does a great job in "I Can Hardly Wait", as well.

Definitely not an album you want to miss, especially if you are a fan of the movie. And even if you aren't, buy this CD anyway. It's one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard.
