Paralysed with fear, he... swore that the passengers in the ghost train's lighted cars had looked directly at him". This book will be especially fascinating for all readers interested in: mystery or history. What are the chances of being hit by lightening three times in one lifetime? And then, being hit again after you are dead and buried? This is just one of the incredible legends in this fascinating collection. From ghosts lurking on board mystery ships to the dark and chilling secrets of Niagara's devil's playground, Canada's history has never been so thrilling.

By A Customer
This review is from: Strange Events: Incredible Canadian Ghosts, Monsters, Curses and Other Tales (Amazing Stories) (Paperback)
This book is a good read about some interesting bits of Canadian history. The author presents the reader with the historical background and facts...and lets the reader make up their own conclusions. Solid research, well-written and with a good variety of fascinating stories from across the country.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Stories!, March 28, 2005
This review is from: Strange Events: Incredible Canadian Ghosts, Monsters, Curses and Other Tales (Amazing Stories) (Paperback)
I have read quite a few books on Canadian mysteries and monsters and this book had many stories I had not read before, and the ones I did know about had details I did not know previously. Very well researched and written. Good Work, looking forward to "Strange Events of the East Coast" due out in January 2006!
