I bought this paperback in an airport when I was a student after having been in the US Army and I was curious about what anyone could write about pathological sadism as a product of some impulse. I was probably flying from Boston and noticed the pages on The Boston Strangler. I was learning that intermittent manic frenzy is a temporary insanity.
