Being lucky enough to find an original copy at a used bookstore, I found this book captivating enough to lead into a diet of books on the subject of people with supreme abnormal talents. Frank Edwards was a radio personality in the late '40's and early '50's. He was able to dispel rumours about his subject matter as much as possible by research on his subjects.It is a must read if you are questioning the human ability as animal only and not something more. Mr.Edwards lets you know that there is more to life than just living it as we have been conditioned to do as he tells us about other souls who have broken all barriers.

A consistently interesting compendium of human and paranormal anomalies that starts off with some astounding freak show attractions and then gets into a wide variety of unusual people, like idiot savants, psychics, reincarnations, automatic writing conduits, dowsers, possessed people, Edgar Cayce, and more. It's kind of a random assemblage, but that keeps it from getting repetitive. Definitely one of the better collections out there.

I was looking for this book since it contains an article about someone with whom I am familiar: Margaret Foos. All of the other incidents chronicled here are also interesting. It was a good short read.
