When Warren, Clyde, and Danial arrived in Carlibrook, they detected something very odd. It was the fact that people didn't seem particularly alarmed, as they might normally be when a four-foot mouse, hamster, and Ornitholestes arrive into their universe by way of a sudden explosion. Of their home universe, they have but one memory: the pyromaniacal iguana that blew them through the dimensional portal in the first place. They meet two human women: Tanya, the sweet high school student who rescues Clyde from the schools biology class; and Sherrie, who may or may not be attempting to kill Warren. Together with the women, they set out on a search for the iguana, hoping that will help them find the portal, not knowing that in their own universe, Earl the Wonder Frog was trying to rescue them, not knowing that in this universe, the Dimensional Welding Service was already on its way to close the portal forever.
