About the Author
Ian Pattison created and wrote Rab C Nesbitt which was first screened in 1991 on BBC2 and was winner of the RTS Best Sitcom and selected as the BBC entry for the Golden Rose of Montreaux. Since then five further series have been transmitted with a further series now commissioned for broadcast by the BBC in 2001. He also created Bad Boys for the BBC and is currently writing a new series called Breeze Block. A Stranger Here Myself is his first novel. Ian Pattison lives in Glasgow.
