5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful blast from the past, January 16, 2011

I am a huge Christine Rimmer/Jones Gang fan and have read (I think) the whole Jones booklist, as well as most of the Bravos. I'd like to think I've grown right along with Ms. Rimmer : ) So it was a real treat to find this book that linked the old with the new - and to discover that she did such a great job with it. Tessa is no size two namby pamby, she is strong and smart and a tad flawed (hey, in one pivotal scene she is destroying some of my favorite china, so I am a tad biased) but Ash isn't perfect either. Except when he is.

I LOVED having Grandpa Oggie and his El Dorado still going strong, as well as all the other Jones folks. And I'd like to think that this isn't the end of the Jones Gang, just an update. For now...

5.0 out of 5 stars Who Is that Stranger?, December 29, 2008
This review is from: The Stranger And Tessa Jones (Silhouette Special Edition) (Mass Market Paperback)
What a great way to end of a year or begin a new one! A visit with Christine Rimmer's beloved Jones Gang and those delectable Bravos!

Tessa Jones is in her backyard at the beginning of a snowstorm letting herself blow off some steam over a frustrating boyfriend when "The Stranger" finds his way to her but faints and looking at him with the cut on his head she knows he needs medical care. Her phones are out and the storm is getting worse by the minute. Finally she accepts that she has to take care of this man on her own! The first 24 hr are long and very scary for Tessa but she reads her medical guide and takes care of this HOT guy. He wakes on/off but can't remember anything but knows he likes his "nurse" It's a blizzard and lasts for several days. The Stranger has nightmares but also slowly is remembering some things but not his name, he has no ID on him either. They have those days of the bad storm to get to know each other and fall in love! Grandpa Oggie comes to check on Tessa after the storm and finds "The Stranger" with her so of course he tells her father. It's fun watching the Jones', her father, uncles and stepmother along with Grandpa look over Ash, he finally does remember his first name. There is a big problem he can't remember how he got to CA?

Ash finally does remember his name and calls his brother and parents but also realizes that he has to get his life back to comeback for Tessa. His parents swoop down and take him from her, he said he would be back! What a wonderful love story!

Tessa's father and stepmother, Patrick and Gina, had their own book--SWEETBRIAR SUMMIT so I'm going to have to get out my Jones Gang with Grandpa Oggie Jones meddling in each book and reread them <G> the characters all got OLDER LOL
