BEST OVERLOOKED CD I'VE FOUND, October 26, 2008

I picked this CD up on a whim. I'd never heard of Athena Reich, and it came in a stack of other CD's I'd gotten for the same reason. I stuck about 15 of them in my cd player and started going through them. When her cd came up, I wasn't aware of which one I was listening to. Needless to say, I was captivated with her voice, and the playful music accompaning it. The songs varied from folksy to rock / punk but all well done, and many quite tongue in cheek. After listening through the entire cd, I pulled it out to see who the artist was. I have been researching her since, and was pleased to discover she has other releases. I highly recomend this cd, and believe that if you enjoy smart, quirky music that you give it a shot.
