Format: Hardcover
I was really looking forward to this book as I so enjoyed the author's previous novel. However I am half way through and really disappointed. It may be geared towards young adults but it never said that. And even young adults would have trouble with serious of coincidences and unlikely events that transpire throughout the novel. The prose is also trite and repetitive.

The book is directed at young adults, but despite being middle-aged, I very much enjoyed it. It is a short book and a quick read, but it is worth taking time to savor various plot lines (divorce, Holocaust, 9/11) which are masterfully intertwined.
