5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book about Walk Ins!!!
I've found all of Ruth's books really have hit home with me, but this one is amazing. She is the person that brought the word, walk in, to the American public, and knows what she is talking about.
As I was reading it, I found it to be very logical, commen sense, and I knew that this was real, as amazing a process as it is. Then I proceeded to write to the people...

3.0 out of 5 stars Gripping
I believe in UFO's and even think there is something to Ghosts - but the idea of Walk-ins is going to take some acceptance - but I'm getting there. Thankfully over 90% of the predictions for the last twenty years have not yet happened. What this book really needs is substantiative evidence with reasoned support for the theories put forward. There is nothing to convince...

I've found all of Ruth's books really have hit home with me, but this one is amazing. She is the person that brought the word, walk in, to the American public, and knows what she is talking about.
As I was reading it, I found it to be very logical, commen sense, and I knew that this was real, as amazing a process as it is. Then I proceeded to write to the people that she was talking about, and listened to what they had to say about it. I've since made good friends with a Bio Sensitives named Charlotte King. ....
She is the only tripple Walk In on the planet, did you know that? And she is so down to earth, honest, and caring. Very loving.
After talking to her, I discovered that I was also a BioSensitive person, and could see how it was affecting my life. I was VERY sick right before the Kobe, Japan Earthquake (a famous one!) and once it happened, at the exact time, all my symptoms went away! She told me how to deal with the reactions, how to learn from them.
So yes, I totally believe Ruth Montgomery about the Walk Ins. They are quite amazing people!!!
Jason Winters is another one. Here is his site! He makes a tea that purifies your blood so that you can Heal things wrong in your body. Check it out! It works! .....
There are many others in the book. But these two are very nice people, doing good on this planet. Definitely worth meeting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Book, October 29, 2006
This review is from: Strangers Among Us (Mass Market Paperback)
I thought the book was quite intriguing. I am not sure that I buy the idea that we have a massive amount of these people in the world today, considering the present state of affairs. However, like most of Montgomery's books, it is thought provoking. I would recommend it to anyone interested in spiritualistic studies.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting., March 7, 2006
This review is from: Strangers Among Us (Mass Market Paperback)
This was one of my first metaphysical books and it helped open my mind to other such subjects. The walk-in concept is very interesting, and Montgomery really makes it seem plausible. Since reading this book years and years ago i have run into many other writings that mention similar phenomenon, thus concreting my belief in walk-in type beings. I really like and recommend anything written by Montgomery, whether or not it is true is up to you but my mind is open to suggestion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Expand your mind and enlighten yourself with the info from this book!, September 19, 2010
This review is from: Strangers Among Us (Mass Market Paperback)
Ruth Mongomery really puts into perspective what is really going on in the world spiritualy. By connecting with her spirit guides she gathers information about many things that most people are unaware of. Such as the walk-ins who come in to help people connect with the higher self and find universal love to lead this world into the new era that will be happening soon. This book has a lot of answers to many questions as well as her other books.

1.0 out of 5 stars Walk away from this one., July 30, 2009

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Strangers Among Us (Mass Market Paperback)
I have read several of Ruth's books. I have rated some very high. Not this one.

I liked some parts of the book, such as the idea of the "flow", but not others. It might have been a ground breaking book on "walk ins", but I just did not like the book.

My biggest problems with this book are the many predictions and the egotistically attitude from her "walk in" friends and her disincarnate guides.

Ruth on the other hand continues to maintain my high respect. For example, at one point she catches her guides in a contradiction on the age of the antichrist. Their answer was basically that she was an flawed receiver . I have to admire her honesty, openness, and integrity as a journalist and author. I have to wonder about any one, with or without a body, who does not to own up to a mistake.

Comments by her "walk in" friends also seem just a bit arrogant and overly confident for higher level souls

The dire predictions of world altering events include world war III. The war was to start in 1986 and include a Soviets invasion of France. Perhaps I missed it or perhaps the warning given in this book changed the future.

Her last book, The World to Come, talks about the reason another prediction in this book, the global shift of the earth's axis, has been delayed.

Still, I see the predictions as the central reason for the large number of "walk ins" and to publish the book. Either the book did its purpose or Ruth was misinformed. I don't like reading misinformation.

If you do read the book consider stopping after chapter 13. You might also want to skip of few of the early chapters.

Thanks and my apologies to the die hard Ruth Montgomery fans.
