I cannot believe how great this dress is for the price. It is well made, thick satin material finished all around beautifully , the middle hugs nicely around torso and comes with matching shawl wrap and looks elegant on. looks so much more expensive than it is. quick shipping. I ordered the black. pretty true to size.

I bought this dress for my Company's Christmas party this year (a little premature, I know). Based on the reviews, I originally bought an XL. When it came, it was a little too big in the hips and way to big in the bust. I ordered it in Cinnamon, which looks to me like a maroon hue in the pictures, but is actually a burnt orange color. I sent it back to exchange for a size L in Red. The red is beautiful and vibrant! The L size is almost too tight in the hips, and almost too big in the bust :). Not a perfect fit, and I'm not an oddly shaped person. That said, I'm happy enough with it so I'm not sending it back. Just an FYI, these are Junior's dresses. The XL is actually a size 13/14 and the L is about an 11/12. I recommend checking out [...] before purchasing from Amazon, that way you can check the exact size of the dress. That's how I found out they are a store for PLUS SIZE Junior's apparel.

I bought this dress in black for my prom. I just falled in love with it when I first saw it in Amazon. It is so elegant and I love it!!!!!! and believe me, I am not a dress person, but this one is just special. Everybody said I looked like a queen the day of my prom wearing this dress. I like it so much that I am thinking about buying it in another color! Just perfect

I received my dress two days after I placed my order. I received it and loved it great material for the price. I ordered the Sage color I will wear to my brother's wedding, I did order a size bigger, because of the reviews I read but now I have to get alterations, but that's okay, I'd rather fit big than small. Great buy and would recommend the purchase of this item

This dress is really well made and the color is fabulous. However, the dress is cut really, really, really, small. I'm regularly a 16W and I ordered this in a 2X, I couldnt even get the dress on. It was beautiful but I ended up giving it away.

The dress was beautiful but it runs small. I got the three x but I really needed a 4x. But it was made beautiful the cinnamon color is gorgeous. I will probably order it in the 4x.

The seller PacificPlex(sp) was great... ordered Sunday received my dress Tuesday though i did pay for expedited shipping. The reviewer that mentioned the stray strings hanging from the hem was correct, but that was solved by simply cutting them off. This is not a shiny satin. Dont know if I love the bow detail on the side... dont think its necessary. The dress is nice but theres no fantastic detail no real wow factor and i think it would benifit from a few alterations... ex: sweetheart neckline vs straight tube style. But really, it was only $60.00 and for the price you cant beat it. I ordered an xtra large/jrs 13/14... I was worried that the dress would be too small it wasnt. The dress fit me exactly and i dont think it runs small at all. In fact i think it may run a bit big on top and Im not small busted. HTH

This is a beautiful dress! I ordered it in Royal Blue, and the color is rich & vibrant. I am happy with the quality of the fabric as well. Using the sizing chart, I ordered a Medium, and I would say it is true to size. I love the style of the dress, it is even more beautiful in person. The unique detailing in the midsection is gorgeous. I also liked the length, it modestly comes just below the knees. There is boning in several sections of the top half, which helps the dress to maintain its shape, especially if choosing the strapless look. It does come with spaghetti straps you can add, and a beautiful wrap. Overall, I am extremely happy with this dress, it is unique & classy, and looks like I spent a lot more than I did!

Bought this to test it out as a possible bridesmaid dress. When I first took this dress out of the box, I loved the color and it seemed like a good quality item - I liked the heft of the material and the detail around the waist. But the stitching on the bottom hem was uneven and shedding in some places. Also, we are doing an outdoor wedding in New England in August, and if it is the least bit humid, this would feel like being in a heavy neoprene suit, this dress is a lot of (non-breathable) material! Also, I am usually a size 12 dress, but am probably closer to a 14 now, with increased waist and bust size after having a baby recently, so I ordered the 2X based on the measurements and it was huge! I think the 1X would've fit better. I was bummed it cost me $16 in shipping ($6 to get it, $10 to return it), but the refund from PacificPlex was prompt - so props to them for good service.

I bought this dress in white for an All-White party. It was a HIT!!!! Everyone loved it and all night long, people kept asking me where I got it. It's the perfect little dress that you can dress up or down depending on the occasion. I wore it with strappy sandals and silver jewelry for an elegant, but not too formal look.

If you're really curvy...I am...you may want to go up a size. I like the dress so much that I'm considering ordering it in 2 more colors.
