The gown looks exactly as shown. It was more beautiful when I had it steamed to rid it of wrinkles.
Every one said it a beautiful gowm, even the valet. I was so amazed how many people walked over to me and said
I looked wonderful. I felt like a queen. The price was right and for the money, there is NO place to find
a gown of this quality. I search every store in my area. you can bet on the next need for a gown, it will be from Amazon. Thank you!!!

Like the other customers, I received so many compliments with this dress on, it was by far worth the price and any effort. I felt like a princess the way I sparkled in the dress!

Some points to note: (the only reason it doesn't get a 5)
1) The sizes DO RUN SMALL! I ordered a medium at first, and you have to pay to ship it back to get another size... but it is quick to ship back again through the USPS website if you need to do so. Also, expect to hem it, because they come long. (I'm 5'8" and it was still long on me, I got by in 4" heels though)
2) I had one string of beads break just when trying it on very carefully, so I had to do a sewing job, but they do come with extra beads.
3) The wrinkles were much harder to get out than most of the reviews made it sound, some I never got out, but fortunately the design was such that they weren't noticeable at the event I went to with dim lights.

The good points that make it completely worth it:
- Comes with straps you can sew on for extra support
- Comes with a color coordinated scarf thing
- It's BEAUTIFUL
- It was actually comfortable, I wore it for 5 hours, and it didn't chafe or rub or anything.

I was going to a ball and needeed a dress. The measurements from the site were inaccurate go a size larger I am a small but i needed a medium. There were great about returning and I got the right size a week later. It was a great price and you dont even need a bra if you are small chested like myself. My dress was a hit at the ball!

This gown is absolutely gorgeous. I purchased it to wear at my cousin's wedding at a country club in Virginia and I was a big hit. I received superb service from the company and look forward to purchasing from them again.

I bought this dress in small/midnight blue for my boyfriends military ball event and it was soo perfect! It was a bit long (i'm 5'5) but when i put on some heels that were like 3 1/4inches high, the end of the dress was perfect length. I am very happy with this dress, it was made very very well. And might i add that i got a lot of compliments on this dress, it's worth every penny and at a great price! Fast shipping too, i wasn't expecting to get it as soon as i did, i got it with in 3 business days of me ordering it. I will advise if you buy it that you get it steamed to get all the wrinkles out, other than that its perfect! :)

Beautiful design! However, it required alot of alterations to achieve the mermaid look. I'm a typical size, 5"8 size 8, 12 inch difference between waist and hips, but the dress is cut for a straight figure. The fabric is VERY THIN AND VERY CHEAP, something very close to the fabric of a Holloween Costume. I ordered the black. Once again, the dress could be a knock out, if the designer had given a little extra effort with the quality of the fabric. Don't expect the photo gown

This just fits great. I wear it to my senior prom it was excitly how the picture show. Also the size chart is right on for it. It is my favorite dress.

I ordered this dress in Charcoal Grey in a size 6 and had it express delivered. The dress that I originally ordered for the Air Force Ball was the same color, almost impossible to find in anything worth buying, and I was basically getting this one just in case. I had already spent a TON of money on the accessories to match this specific color. Needless to say, my other dress did NOT get here in time. Thank goodness I had this one. I wish I had never ordered the other one to begin with. This dress is GORGEOUS. It got here in two days, to Germany, which was a giant relief and although it is a bit snug, it is worth the careful sitting I had to do at dinner. I have NEVER received so many compliments on a dress. More than one person told me it was the prettiest dress at the event. It came a little wrinkled, but after being steamed, it looked fabulous.

My gosh , I am SO HAPPY with this gown !! It is simply beautiful and I am so in love with it. The fit is perfect as I followed the size guidelines provided. I am usually a size 18 and ordered 2X and it could not have fitted better !! My daughter who is very critical had one word when she saw me try the dress on which was WOW !!!
I am currently in New York city and received it better than in a time when promised.

I ordered this dress for a friend of mine.

I ordered a size medium. However, the dress looks a little bit smaller than i expected.

Could you please tell me what a medium is. Is it the same as size 8, 10 or 12?
