Includes a behind-the-scenes view of the SAC above and underground command post at Offut Air Force Base, Neb., and demonstrates the interrelationship between the command post and various weapons systems (missiles, bombers, fighters, etc.) around the country. Provides excellent details on the physical outlay of the post (weather central, telecommunications, and staff rooms). Also looks at the important role the Air Force Security Police (SPs) play in protecting the weapons systems such as Minuteman. Includes an overview of the Nuclear Safety Program and personnel headquartered at Kirkland AFB. Video also contains an overview of the career of General Curtis E. LeMay (includes on-camera interview with LeMay) and a short film on the SAC combat weapons loading competition at Ellsworth AFB.

This is a collection of training films produced for Strategic Air Command during the Cold War. Security procedures and communications are covered. Lots of cool footage you can't see anywhere else. Security Police, Missile Combat Crews, and SAC headquarters are shown. An expensive disc, but I enjoyed it.
