In his book "Strategic Partnerships" Wallace shares his insights as to how growing companies can maximize synergistic alliances, learn and support each other while achieving better unified results than could be had separately. Soundview likes this book because Wallace further explains how entrepreneurial companies can best fill the gaps of their strategic partner; leverage respective strengths; increase the efficiency of resource utilization and minimize organizational weaknesses. This book also identifies the most common hazards to such agreements and how to avoid them. It's a great resource for any organization seeking to make the sum greater than the individual parts.

This is the best, most relevant book on building strategic alliances for ambitious woman- and minority-owned entrepreneurial companies that I have seen. It is an outstanding resource, being both very specific and highly useful. I have a small, young woman-owned business. Using the books' guidelines, I am currently in the process of developing a relationship with a very large national company and we are both excited about the opportunities to build success together.
