I have had so much fun using watercolors on these postcards, and my friends and family sure have enjoyed receiving them, as none of us knew I could paint until about 2 weeks ago, LOL! That includes me!

I must say, these are great. You get a book of 15. They just come right out of the binding, no problem, don't tear or rip. They are nice and thick and there is tons of room of the opposite site to write your note. It is already lined for your to put the receiver's address, which was nice.

I have had to order more cards. Fifteen was just not enough. They were a little pricey, considering the S&H I had to pay to get them, but that was my fault-- I wasn't able to go out to the store and try to get some. So I paid the S&H which made them expensive, but for the happiness they have brought me and their receivers, it's been worth it.

They take on the water well, if you are doing wet into wet painting. THey only curl just a little when drying, but I just jam them into a heavy book for a day or two before I mail them out, AFTER they've dried, of course! Probably my fault for putting on too much water, like I said, I've only been painting for 2 weeks now, and I don't really know much about mastering watercolors yet.

My daughter loves her watercolor crayons and watercolor paint. We've also used liquid watercolors on these postcards, and everything works very well. The paper is thick and sturdy. It's fun to make cards for friends and family.

I had these sent as a Christmas present to my nieces and nephews, along with other art supplies. They loved making their own postcards, and it's fun for relatives to receive the personalized mail. No batteries, no sound effects, at least not from the postcards! Highly recommend for anyone of an artistic bent, young or old. Would be especially great to take traveling.
