Add a tropical touch to your patio or sunroom with this Strathwood synthetic wicker two-seater ottoman set, which includes a glass-topped coffee table placed between the two seats and two footrests. A chocolate brown resin wicker covers a durable steel frame, and it's fashioned into an open diamond pattern with a tighter weave covering the arms and frame. The cushioned seats and footrest tops are amply filled and firmly comfortable, and they're covered with a tropical floral print with oranges, whites, and greens set against a light gray base. The coffee table has a wicker platform and an additional elevated platform that holds the golden, smoked glass top. The overall measurement of the love seat is 36 by 75.3 by 35.8 inches.

The wicker strands are made from durable polyethylene (PE) resin, which is designed to withstand fading, weathering, and aging within a temperature range of -70C (-94F) to 80C (176F) degrees. The washable wicker strands have a powder-coated finish with a modest sheen that easily sheds drizzle and accidental drips, and its looks will remain unchanged for three years under normal usage. The chairs and stools have a weight capacity of 250 pounds, while the table in between the chairs has a weight capacity of 100 pounds. Assembly is easy, with all parts, rust-resistant hardware, and necessary tools included.

The term "wicker" doesn't refer to a particular material, but a style of construction that weaves together stiff strands of fibers such as rattan, willow, and bamboo. Woven furniture has been around since ancient Egypt, but wicker is believed to have been given its name in Scandinavia--with wika meaning to bend and vikker meaning willow in Swedish. Wicker was first popularized in America in the 1850s, and was used extensively in the Arts and Crafts movement at the turn of the 20th century.

Bought this item as a "Deal of the Day" and boy, am I glad I did. It put together rather easily ("IKEA Style" where an Allen wrench is all you need.)
The cushions are extremely well filled and feel like top quality. They actually look nicer in real life. The Center part between the two chairs is made of glass (the coffe-table)- a real nice classy touch.
The ottomans are the perfect height and very stable.

What I love about this set is that everything is oversized - so you can really get comfy and spread out. Very nice for relaxing, eating lunch or just sipping a drink in the backyard.

The "wicker" is plastic and it will be interesting to see how well it holds it's color. Seems like really good quality though and they provide you with touch up paint just in case you accidently scratch or scuff it.

Certainly beautiful and comfy - it's worth the money for this set.

I am very disappointed in this item. I received the set and was putting it together when I realized that one of the pieces was distorted and incapable of being locked together. So, I had to repack the bulky item and have another one sent to me. The second set arrived and the wicker was unraveling from the resin and the holes were not alligned correctly for bolting the chair to the table. So, I had to repack the item and send it back... needless to say, I'm asking for a refund.

I just got this set and I cannot believe the quality for the price I paid. It was fairly easy to assemble and is well contructed. The cushions are very comfortable. I wish more items were offered in this collection. My wife wants chairs and a side table to match it.
