I have the Balboa Collection; the corner piece, armless chair and the chaise, and have been very happy with it. I have had it for over a year on my patio and think that it looks great, the perfect piece for enjoying summer outdoors. The wood has held up well, there are a few places that it has split but nothing major and they are barley noticeable, mainly on the bottom of the legs. This occurred during winter since I live in a place with a lot of moisture I figured not storing the wood indoors could affect it, and was pleasantly surprised with the minimal amount of splitting. The cushions have held up well too (I bring them inside during the winter to store them) and are very comfy. The depth on the pieces are good for relaxing and the chaise is great to stretch out and read in the sun. I will mention that the chaise is not long enough to lay completely on your back and not have your feet hang off the edge, but it is the right size for reading while sitting and stretching out your legs. The ottoman has come in very handy as an extra place to stretch your legs if another person is sitting in the chaise portion or I have used it without the cushion as a cocktail table to put the wine and cheese on. Overall I think that the Balboa collection is a great item for my yard and am very happy with the quality and price.

I ordered 4 pieces from the strathwood balboa set (armless chair, corner chair, chaise and ottoman to form a sectional) and I LOVE them. I checked out a very similar sectional at Pottery Barn for over $3000 and I'm so glad that I bought this one instead. It arrived on time, in great condition. Amazon service was incredible when one of the pieces was held up, they made sure it arrived on time. It was relatively easy to put together, but did require a little muscle. Once assembled, it is rock solid and really great looking. The cushions are very firm and look terrific in cream, but wont stay clean for long. I don't think they are weather resistant but the whole set is so affordable. I think I'll dye them a taupe or chocolate color to hide the wear. Great furniture, great service, great buy!!!!

I live in a funky attic space that has a lot of character and charm but comes with a lot of angles and a regualr couch wouldn't work but this chaise is perfect. I've decorated with colorful down pillow and a throw and it looks great. This piece has a very firm thick mattress where the other outdoor chaises didn't. If the back of this one reclined it would have received 5 stars!

Good design, nice wood, easy to put together except the holes don't totally match up and you need a rubber hammer to tap them in. Cushions are firm with removable covers. Looks much higher end than the price. One came with a hairline crack in the side and Amazon had it picked up and another one delivered right away.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. We wanted a chaise for lounging, but also to serve as extra seating when needed-three adults could sit across when used "couch style". It is comfortable-the cushions are indeed thick. It's also a heavy and substantial piece of furniture. Assembly was easy. Only time will tell regarding cushion wear and ease of cleaning. Overall, a great piece for a great price.

I have five pieces of this collection. It does look nice and more expensive than I paid. Be sure to buy teak oil for it! Needs to be oiled at least twice a season.

Biggest problem is the cushions. They are cream and obviously need to be washed often. That's fine, but the zipper is pathetic. Paid $35 per cushion for additional zippers. The chaise cushion took 30 minutes to get out of the fabric casing and it never went back in correctly. Extra zippers are a necessity. Bought dye to make them red and cover the dirt but never did since they wash up nicely. Invest in the zippers!

I bought a complete eight peace sectional seating for my patio. This furniture is everything I was wanting, low cost, good quality and good style. The cushions are very nice and comfortable. The parts are some what time consuming to assemble, but it's not bad. I would recommend a ratchet alien wrench not the provided alien wrench; it will kill your fingers. I would recommend this sectional seating to anyone. I just now need to get some nice pillows for it and it will be complete. 100 % HAPPY

After reading all the customer reviews, I wanted to try it out for myself so I purchased three of the Balboa pieces. They are very nicely made, very durable, easy to assemble and much larger than I was expecting. There was a small scratch on one of the chairs but it blends in so nicely that it looks like it's part of the wood. I would have preferred a different color in the cushions. The cushions were included in the price so I can't complain. This piece is very simple looking but it was exactly what I was looking for. It's a little heavy but that goes with the territory. I will probably add some color by way of the cushions. I plan on purchasing two more pieces to finish my collection. In comparisson to the price of teak this is a much better deal. The care for the wood is exactly the same as teak. I highly recommend this item if you are looking into teak and have a large patio or balcony to decorate.

This piece was easy to assemble and looks gorgeous. The nice deep cushion is really surprisingly firm which is wonderful. Some couch cushions can be a bit flimsy, but it's amazingly solid and comfy-firm for lounging. It keeps its shape and is sleek and modern. I had been worried about the wood as I'd never heard of it before - but it is really strong and has a deep rich honey red color that looks like it will last. I bought 3 pieces to make up a sectional and all pieces matched beautifully, no variation in the coloring. Tho each piece did ship from a different place via a different courier and there was a bit of anticipation before the whole 'suite' was in place. I'm really really happy with it!

I ordered this early last week and they delivered it this morning. It took me about 20 minutes to put it together (no tools needed). It's sturdy and looks great. I looked at the Del Mar furniture at Smith and hawken and this looks just like it...only it's cheaper than JUST THE CUSHIONS at S&H. The cushions are very firm (almost a little too firm) but with a few throw pillows it was comfy. Highly recommend!
