I bought these Strathwood chairs and a matching bistro table about 7 months ago. I've oiled one, and left the other and the table unoiled for comparison. I'll let the video do the talking. Literally. :)

Chairs seem pretty great, and really more comfortable than I expected. Where the wood is fastened together with bolts, there is a little more movement than I'd like, but as long as the wood itself stands up to the weather, I don't foresee any problems. The price is incredible.

We purchased this set of 2 folding armchairs to go with the matching bistro table. They look amazing on our balcony-- the color of the wood is beautiful and classic. We added two cushy seat cushions from IKEA and really recommend getting seat cushions, as it makes the chairs quite comfortable (I've sat on them for about 3 hours straight doing work). The chairs are sturdy, attractive and have held up well in the heat and humidity of New York City. We got them when Amazon was having a summer patio furniture sale and the price was unbeatable. The chairs were $89.99, the table was $21.52, plus shipping the total was about $150. An amazing set for the price.

Actually we have purchased 4 of these chairs. We were very impressed with the first set, but unfortunately, the second set has not been as good. Within 2 weeks and little use, 1 chair developed problems in the folder/slider in the legs. The peg came out of the groove that it should slide it, and the horizontal bar that stopped it broke out and collapsed. We tried to screw the bar in place, but there is too much pressure on it, so it did not work. And then after about 4 months, the other chair developed a problem in the right arm....it too collapsed. So we are disappointed and would not recommend purchase.

only had my chairs for a few months so I cant say what they will look like after they weather afew seasons but they look great now and am happy with the quality,haedware was a little loose on one chair,easily tightened with a allen wrench.Really like the foldable design as I plan to store mine out of the harshest winter months,right now they look great on my deck as I enjoy the fall weather.Good price,good product,free shipping sealed the deal for me.

The chairs arrived just as Amazon stated they did. Coming right out of the box, they were assembled, and like other reviewers have stated, all you need to do is tighten up the bolts with an Allen Wrench. For the price, they appear to be of good quality and sturdy craftsmanship, but like some other reviewers, they need to make them both taller and wider, but don't let that discourage you from purchasing them.

All in all, a good bargain.

I noticed the slight side-to-side movement mentioned in another review and used a 4mm hex wrench to tighten up the fittings, and it eliminated the flex and made the chairs feel very solid. They may leave the chairs loose intentionally so they flex a bit while shipping, but it would be nice if they included a wrench along with instructions.

One review mentioned that they unfold by themselves, and this tendency was greatly reduced after tightening the nuts.

The chair is a great buy at $89.99 + shipping. They shipped out of Nevada and arrived at my Northern California home overnight. It's a big box, and luckily I had a neighbor who helped me get them up our front stairs.

We bought four of these chairs to go with the Strathwood table we purchased. The chairs themselves are nice, fully assembled, comfortable enough without cushions and look good. The downside is since they are foldable they are hard to move around without them automatically folding up. A little annoying but still good chairs. They are on the smaller side too.

I ordered 6 chairs. They look nice and are very inexpensive. Unfortunately, 2 of the 6 have broken in less than 3 months. In each case a wooden piece of the seat itself split in half.

These chairs arrived in no time flat. Before we really put them to use, we tightened up the bolts on the arms (which seemed a little wobbly). That fixed the issue, and we were good to go! We've now had them for the entire summer, and have used them a lot. They're just awesome. They've held up well, and fit right in with our other wooden patio furniture. They've been rained on plenty of times, and there's been no issue with the stain leeching off. I'd have to say this was one of the best Amazon buys I've ever made.
