Purchased months ago and still looks like new even after being out in the direct sun all day every day. Warning it really smells bad for a short time.

After 3 1/2 years of being in the direct sun all day, this door mat still looks nearly new, maybe a bit better since the smell is gone.

4 1/2 years and still going. It's at the new house and still in direct sun all day. Looks the same as the day I bought it.

I have two rectangular Strathwood Rubber Scroll Doormats, and ordered this one too. These mats are heavyweights, take the abuse of animals and kids, and make a nice presentation at the door! The wind won't be taking this one off the porch!

I moved recently and have a small front porch. I could not find a nice door mat in the right size, so I checked Amazon. I was thrilled to receive this
sturdy, attractive doormat! It is so perfect! I also bought the rectangular set for steps out back; we've had a lot of snow, so I will wait until spring to use those. They are nice and sturdy too.

The mat is great for cleaning your feet before going inside but where it realy shines is during the Florida downpours. I can step outside without getting my feet soaked. It looks great and has held up to our sunshine. My dog however does not like it; too mant spaces for her paws.

I really loved this mat when I got it, and it looks great and has a good quality feel to it. The only thing that made me sad was when we wet to Lowes the next week and there was an even larger, just as nice quality mat that was almost identical design for $10 less. So...it's really great on it's own, but you may want to shop around for a better price.

I first bought the half-moon doormat when I stumbled on it in a Friday Sale. I liked the look so much that when the rectangular version showed up on a subsequent Friday Sale, I ordered one of those, too. I've been pleased with both.

The plusses:

* They look very nice with the scrollwork. There are minor differences in the scrollwork between the two styles, necessary because of the difference in shapes.
* They're heavy and won't blow around. Perhaps more importantly, they tend to "grab" the surface they're on, so they won't slip or skid.
* Rain won't pool as it might on a solid mat, although if the mat is on a very smooth surface, water may build up in the holes in the scrollwork if it can't drain out. I can't vouch for how they'd work in snow (I'm in southern California, after all!).

The minuses (and they're very minor):

* As at least one other review noted, the mats have a rubbery smell initially. In the outdoors, the odor dissipates fairly rapidly.
* Small bits of debris can collect in the holes in the scrollwork (dropped coins, too!). Periodically raising the mat and sweeping or washing the underlying surface solves that easily, and you'd do that anyway to clean your porch.

I liked the first one so much I ordered a second. This doormat is a heavyweight, and sturdy (as opposed to flimsy)--the wind won't be wreaking havoc with this doormat!

We only started using the mat yesterday so I can't attest to the durability, but the mat itself looks beautiful. It appears to be very sturdy and we already have seen the benefits to this type of mat - the dirt falls through the holes rather than just sit on the mat, which prevents bringing in the excess dirt. Very happy with this purchase.

We bought this last year and really like the looks of it. It's very heavy and stays where it's put. Honestly, nothing could move this thing! The only thing I don't like about this mat is the fact that it's really uncomfortable on my bare feet!

I changed from French Doors to a sliding glass door just so I could have a mat on both the inside and outside of the back door to our often-used backyard. The day the workers were putting the door in I got on Amazon and found exactly what I wanted - this mat. It's on the outdoor side, sitting on a wood deck. The texture keeps the cat from sitting on it and the open spaces let the dirt fall off the shoes before walking inside. It looks sturdy and like it will last.
