The chair measures 33.44 by 18.49 by 31.87 inches when opened and 20.46 by 31.87 by 5.9 inches when closed. It is available in a choice of colors for easy accessorizing. If you are considering a portable deck chair, the wooden ones can be fine. What I have found is the wooden ones tend to not be as study. The construction of these metal chairs is much, much better. They fold to the same size...maybe even a little less. They hold more weight. They last longer as a unit. This one even has a drink cup holder...very neat. I am very pleased with this purchase.

They are great for older folks to get in and out of, not like those "loungers" one cannot climb out of. These are easy to carry, easy to set up and wonderful for bad backs.
