Purchased this item in anticipation of grilling season. Haven't used it too much as it stays light outside until after 8pm. However, the times I did use it it worked as advertised. Heavy base prevents tipping.

This light works well - I just received it and am still waiting for the grill to be delivered, but with 9 white LEDs, it'll light up the garage as well as a MagLight. Good, solid construction with o-ring seals around the battery compartment and electronics so you don't have to worry about it being in the rain. Of course, if you're grilling in the rain at night, you've probably had enough beer. If you're like me, though, this is perfect for those late-night barbecues in snow storms. For $20, it's a good bargain.

This is a very attractive and solid light, and it does a nice job of brightening up the grill area in the evening while one is cooking. I got mine free with the purchase of a Strathwood Grill, but it is a great deal at the current sale price of $12.99. It is heavy and sturdy, so you aren't likely to knock it over when grilling.

Very disappointed in quality of this product, on/off switch was defective when received... lamp would come on but would immediately start flickering and eventually just turn off by itself. Was purchased as a gift and told that product was no longer available when tried to exchange. :(

What a great little light. There is very little light around my house after the sun goes down and I have often been caught guessing when the meat was done on my grill. No more. This little tool throws out plenty of light so I can see what I am doing. It takes regular AA Batteries and doesnt drain them that quickly. I liked it so much I gave one to my dad for christmas.

My husband loved the grill light. He thought it was the coolest toy since the pocket knife! The light can be removed from the weighted base if needed. Although it gives off a small area of light, it can be moved around, or aimed by bending the flexible metal arm. It's a terrific toy for the bbq chef who thinks he has everything!

I was surprised with the amount of light output from this affordable unit! It really lights up my grilling surface and I have a fairly large grill. The battery life is extensive and the entire unit well made. The stand is heavy and keeps in place very well. I have found myself using this light and stand for other tasks requiring portable light(like under the sink). I can't find a drawback other than why did I wait so long to get it?

My husband and I grill out alot, however with Daylight Savings, it is often after dark. The outdoor lights were not enough so I purchased this. It was such a good price, I thought we would give it a try. It has worked really well...the beam of light is fairly concentrated so we have to focus it on each item on the grill. However it is easily maneuverable and very lightweight. Definitely has helped us when grilling in the dark! If the beam were broader, I would have given it five stars.

Face it, you just never know when you buy something on-line if it's going to be a quality item. Fortunately the Strathwood LED grill light with stand was an excellent buy. I purchased it as a gift for a relative and now wish I had purchased two, one for them and one for me! It's a heavy, well made stand with a very bright detatchable flashlight. And you can twist the neck around to get it to focus on the exact area you need to see. The gift recipient has found it to be perfect for those times when it's starting to turn to dusk and you still need to see if the steak is medium rare or getting too close to well done. Good buy.

MY husband bought these as Christmas gifts for my brother in law's. They love to Bar-B- Que and these lights were a hit!!! The LED light is very bright and it is so easy to move around. Now my husband is getting one for himself.
