We have an indoor patio with a faucet connection and hose there. I got this bright idea to purchase this six months ago when Amazon ran it for $14.88 with super saver shipping. That is about what this is worth because of what you will incur with installing it. I am just now writing this review because it took this long for me to get my husband to attach this hanger to our house stucco wall. Why? Well, I know less than nothing about getting a heavy wrought iron hose hanger correctly affixed to a wall.
This came with absolutely no instructions, meaning you need to know how to drill four accurately positioned holes into whatever you are hanging this to. You also need to know about whether the hardware will adequately support not only the hanger but the added weight of the hose as well, so that everything doesn't just pull out of the wall. That means you have to know a good handyman or have a knowledgeable relative or friend to do the installation. In the case of our stucco wall, one of the holes had to include a molly to ensure support. To complicate installation, because of the construction of the hanger, it is not possible to use an electric screwdriver. You will need a manual screwdriver with a fairly long shaft. It took the better part of an hour, with me holding the hanger for my husband while he installed it, to get this installed.
