My parents bought this set, and paid far less for it than I did for a much "higher quality" brand.

I don't notice any quality difference between their set and mine. This set is fully functional, and the all important scraper holds up just great when I'm scrubbing caked on residue off the grill.

I'm not thrilled with the tongs. As you can see in the picture, they are slanted to a pointed edge. In the description, it says this is to help you pick up small pieces. All I know is that it's really awkward to flip steaks and burgers and shish-kabobs with it (I always prefer tongs to a spatula for this). I end up twisting my hand to compensate for the slant on the tongs. It's just weird and not ideal.

Do a search on Amazon for "Barbeque Tongs" and you'll see that the more well-known brands all have straight-tipped tongs. I guess they, like me, think a straight tip is more functional. I guess someone at Strathwood decided otherwise.

Besides for the awkward tongs, this is a great set at a bargain price.

Feels heavy, looks good, and performs well. The brush utensil, though, left behind its shards of 'brushes' as I used it. That's what kept this score low. Purchased the grill, utensils, rotisserie, and cover at the same time. See my other feedback for those items. This is a 'decent' set of 'tools' but you might do better at your local store.

Very impressive quality, strength and appearance. I've seen a lot less for sale for a lot more money! Keep it up Amazon!

They will not last forever...the wood will not shine after hanging off the grill, even if it's covered. The bristles will wear down after a few years and the metal is okay/common

...With that said, It's Rosewood and they work great for grill usage

Bought this set a year ago. Amazon had a Friday sale and had this set for $9.99. Good looking hefty set. Definitely not flimsy. After 1 year, a brass rivet on the spatula came off. Still works okay.

Fairly robust, only complaint is that the tongs are pretty massive (all pieces in this set are pretty large) the tongs have pretty high resistance and are "springy" makig it difficult to handle anything small like hot dogs or brats without sort of fighting to keep them closed on your food. They are probably meant for larger pieces of meat and serve that role just fine.

but I miss a box to storage them

I purchased this BBQ tool set as a gift for my husband. He was impressed with the classy look of the tools and says they work really well. (He did have a crummy old set by comparison). These seem to be a good heavy duty set.

Quality tools at an affordable price. Delivery was prompt. Very satisfied customer!! Very nice gift!

These tools are well designed and sturdy, not the flimsy like so many others.
