Over the past couple of years I have purchased 6 of these chairs and 4 adirondack chairs. They are a good value, and they do look good. I have rated the chairs with 3 stars because they are uncomfortable to sit in (a seat cushion helps) and their finishing stain tends to bleed when wet (I noticed this after I moved the chairs to my new screened porch, which has a concrete floor).

Great chairs for the price. Actually, nice outdoor chairs regardless of price. From the reviews, I had high expectations, and these chairs exceeded those expectations--easy to put together, although it did take a little time (for four chairs), and they are sturdy and very good looking.

These chairs are great for the price. Bought 4 for $120 w/ free shipping. Put some water sealant on them (instead of the recommended teak oil b/c I had an extra can of the sealant) and it worked fine. They haven't kept their deep color as much as they probably would have w/ the teak oil. Seem pretty sturdy and have held up well outside in the sun/weather for past 6 weeks. Would recommend.

These are really nice chairs. I had seen them before at a dinner party, but it took assembling them to really appreciate how nice they are. The factory joints are mortise and tenon or dowel jointed and they are very well done on my chairs. The wood is clear and appears solid. The hardware included to assemble the chairs at home is strong and easy to use. You do not need any tools beyond the allen wrenches that are included.
Vietnam is a long way from my house, and somewhere between there and here one slat got chipped. I will lightly sand it and put some teak oil on it and call it good. The second chair had some very small warping so that when I assembled it I had to use a little force to align the screw. Instead of slight force, I used excessive leverage and cracked the wood some. It is a small crack, but I will keep an eye on it. If it spreads it should be easy to fix by filling the crack and then sistering a small piece of wood on to relieve some pressure. Someone using moderate sense would not have had this problem. I suspect the people who had problems with these chairs and the matching side chairs may have made similar mistakes to mine.

I was extremely aprehensive at first based on previous seller feedback and the fact that these items were so inexpensive. All arrived on time and in perfect condition. The quality of wood is impressive. Solid, strong and beautiful. Comparable to Cost Plus or Pier 1. Plus the design was exactly what we were looking for. Easy to assemble too.

I think the chairs are great. They arrived on time. They were a breeze to assemble. Very sturdy chairs, better than my folding teak chairs people find ways to break. The chairs look good and what a price. One chair leg was cracked. Notified Amazon and the new chair arrived before they received the broken chair back. Can't ask for more than that.

seem sturdy and appealing looking, but getting them put together, oy! lots of trouble lining up the screw holes, and one seat didnt quite fit into the chair back. i'm not exactly mr handyman but i can screw things together well enough, disappointing for the price. great once theyre together, hope you have better luck than me.

The chairs arrived with the bag containing the hardware open and the hardware scattered all over the place. I tried to get amazon to send me new hardware but they told me to connect with Strathwood. Strathwood never answered my emails so I tried to put the chairs together anyhow. They are sort of together now although they are missing a couple of bolts. They look fine and if they stay together all will be fine.

I was about to purchase a similar set from pottery barn for twice the price. I just wasn't comfortable spending that amount of money. I started looking for somethig that would give me the same look for a smaller price. That's when i came across this set. I read all the reviews and was still a little nervous becaue they were so mixed. But I decided to order it anyway. I received the table and chairs in about a week all pieces were intact, simple to assemble- my 16yr old daughter put ours together. It looks great on my deck and i can't wait for the weather to break o i can start using it.

These chairs are amazing! I ordered them friday, got em tuesday, now that's fast! I was truly expecting so much less for the price. The chairs are heavy, comfortable, and just wonderful! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a beautiful wood set. I am just so amazed. Kudos to UPS for great and fast shipping. I apologized to our driver for having to deliver such heavy packages! :) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of the set!
