My mom bought me the Strawberry Shortcake Telephone for Christmas.I was 10 years old at the time and I didn't want to be a geek or not have a clique.Well, when I opened the present the first thing that came into my mind was how childish but I pretended to like the present.1 week later I had a slumber party.I tried to hide the phone but I got caught. The slumber party was gonna have the cool kids over and they said that we can prank call.I thought prank call on that phone, no way!Too late the door bell rang and the cool kids were here. When they saw my phone they looked at eachother and said where did you get that phone,it's so fab!I just looked at them and smiled. This phone is great for kids any age and it's safe because the caller ID. I recommend this to parents for gifts because of the safty it has and the easy to use buttons.

This phone is toxic. Affixed to the cord is a label that says that the cord of this telephone is toxic and can cause reproductive harm so wash your hands after each use. I don't know about you but what kid is going to wash her or his hands after each use of a phone conversation or even just handling the cord? The manufacturer of this product should just pay the extra and put on a safe material.
