I was so surprised to see this game in the store, as I haven't seen Strawberry Shortcake on TV since the 80's. I am a young mother who played with Strawberry Shortcake when I was a girl and I just adored her! I bought this game for my daugther, but I think I was more excited to play. We both had fun, playing with the Colorforms pieces and we had the game spread out across the floor. It was nice and big and easy for her to see and understand. As we played, I told her all about Strawberry and her friends and their adventures. It was a blast from the past for me and worth the purchase just to share my memories with her. Now if only Strawberry would come back on TV so I could show my daughter!

My daughter recieved this game for her 4th birthday. She is a huge Strawberry Shortcake fan so this was the perfect gift for her. Unfortunately the colorforms are hard to work with. The game board never layed flat and the game was very simple. My biggest problem with this game is that the colorforms are not able to stick back on the original sheet so you end up with a box of little pieces that you must go through everytime you play the game. This went from her favorite game when she first received it to not being played with at all.

This game was a real let down. We wasnt able to finish a game because the matt was so bumpy the pieces wouldn't sit on the matt becasue its a plastic sheet thats folded in the box. I have to find away to iron the matt and each time we play the game I will have to flatten the matt to play which is extra work I wasn't prepaird for. I dissapointment for my 3 year old who got this from santa.
