As a parent, I welcome any Strawberry Shortcake DVD into my home because I know that my girls will not only be entertained but get a lesson or two as well. And the songs are so catchy we bought the SSC Seaberry Beach Party Music CD to jam to in the car!

In Seaberry Beach Party, Gingersnap, Angel Cake, and Orange Blossom listen to the roar of the ocean in SSC's seashells. SSC looks through her "remembering book" and shares two sea tales. In the first story, "Coco Calypso and the Mystery of the Seaberry Shore", the seaberries are disappearing. Coco, who lives on the beach, solves the mystery and meets a new friend, Seaberry Delight, who lives in the lagoon underwater. Other characters featured in this episode are Papaya Parrot, Rainbow Sherbert, and Blueberry Muffin.
What is more precious than gold? Find out in the second story. Rainbow and Blueberry haggle over sand dollars they find on the beach. To stop the friends from fighting, Seaberry Delight tells them "The Legend of the Lost Treasure." SSC and her friends are mermaids who face a greedy Sea Serpent hoarding the precious "solid gold" sand dollars.

THIS IS AN AWESOME DVD FOR STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE/MERMAID FANS OF ALL AGES. COOL CHARACTERS, CATCHY SONGS, VIVID COLORS. GREAT ANIMATION! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE. THE GIRLS IMAGINE THEMSELVES AS MERMAIDS IN AN UNDERSEA ADVENTURE. IN MY OPINION, THEY SHOULD RELEASE A WHOLE SERIES OF STORIES AND DVD'S OF THE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE GIRLS AS MERMAIDS.

I am a huge SSC fan, and when I found out there was a new DVD for the SSC collection, I grabbed it right away. The stories are based on the idea of Strawberry's 4 new friends, Blueberry, Seaberry, Rainbow, and Coco. The one story involves a mysterious new friend that steals Coco's Seaberries, while the other story involves a berry special mermaid adventure that involves the friends searching for a berry special treasure. The colors are bright and act as sweet candy to the eye. The stories are energetic and teach children a leson on making friends and not being greedy.I enjoyed this very much:}

Something different, Cute, catchy and great for kids to watch!
They really bring the strawberry shortcake characters to life and give them all such personalities!!!
I highly reccomend them for any Strawberry shortcake fan!

Episode 1: The Mystery Of Seaberry Shore
Strawberry's friend Coco Calypso lives on Seaberry Beach with her pet, Papaya Parrot and a band of fun-loving monkeys. When the seaberries that Coco harvests from the sea are stolen, she asks Strawberry, Rainbow Sherbet and Blueberry Muffin to solve the mystery. Setting a trap, they think they've caught a mermaid - but it turns out to be a shy girl named Seaberry Delight, who lives in a grotto in the lagoon. Seaberry grows the berries and she thought Coco was stealing the berries from her! With Strawberry's help, Coco and Seaberry learn to share the berries - each making a new friend in the process.

Episode 2: Legend Of The Lost Treasure
A fantasy episode in which Strawberry, Rainbow Sherbet, Blueberry Muffin, Coco Calypso and Seaberry Delight imagine themselves as Mermaids, drawn into a grand adventure. Hearing about a fabled treasure of golden sand-dollars, they set out to find it. Rainbow and Blueberry are seduced by the lure of the gold - becoming greedy and distrustful. The treasure is guarded by an even greedier Sea Beast, who takes the Mermaids captive and makes them gather the gold for her... until Strawberry engineers a daring escape and frees everyone - including the Sea Beast - from the spell of the golden sand-dollars.

We are introduced to two new friends: Coco Calypso and Seaberry Delight, and we see more fillies: Cherry Vanilla (Peppermint Fizz's filly), Butter Pecan (Rainbow Sherbert's filly), Spumoni (Coco's filly, I think) and Pistachio (Seaberry's filly).

I bought this DVD for my daughter, she enjoys it, I didnt think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did! Great DVD!

I HAVE A 3YR OLD AND SHE LOVES ALL THE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE DVDS, SHE KNOWS ALL THE SONGS, SOME ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS, AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST DVDS, GILRS GO CRAZY WITH THE MERMAIDS AND THE NEW CHARACTERS COCO CALYPSO AND SEABERRY DELIGHT, VERY ENTERTAINING...

When I asked my 4 year grand daughter what she wanted for Christmas, this was the only thing she asked for. She loves it and seems mesmerized with Strawberry Shortcake. I plan on getting more.
