The author has done a great job of showing us the thoughts and emotions as this young man falls in love with a girl, but soon comes to realize that he does not stand a chance of becoming her boyfriend. All the misunderstandings along with his geeky ways pave the way for their relationship to develop as a friendship but he longs for more. He is a very lovable character and I kept smiling throughout this book. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a clean, feel good romance with humour.

Well-written and humorous story of love and misapprehension. This romance from a male perspective is refreshing. I'm looking forward to the next novel from Nathan Bamford.

I really liked this book - there was laugh out loud humor, a sweet love story, and a jerk. I would highly recommend this book!!

This kind of humor is right up my alley. It's not gut clutching funny, but smile to yourself funny. Well written with a wonderfully developed main character. There were no surprises in the plot, but it was an enjoyable read that I liked spending time with. While lighthearted, depth was added to the story with Eldon's flashbacks to high school and the bullying he suffered at the hands of his crush's current boyfriend.(less)
