I stream Netflix and movies from my computer to my XBox on a 42" HDTV. I have been very impressed with the quality and lack of disruptions. Formally I had a Linksys WRT54 type wireless router and constantly had problems streaming Netflix to my XBox that was poor quality to begin with. The problems went away as soon as I hooked up the WRT610N and also put a wireless N antenna on the XBox. I would think the most important thing is that your DVD player connects via wireless N rather than G and that it isn't too far from the access point. If that is the case, you shouldn't have any problems.

If you were even thinking about getting this router, then you might as well go with the version that has replaced this version: Cisco-Linksys E3000 Wireless-N Router
