does Roku LT Streaming Player do Prime Instant Videos? I don't see it listed but this might be because it is so new or because Prime is not included... my HD tivo can stream from Amazon but not do the Prime...

I would say without a doubt YES, since the Amazon channel has always been a part of the base channel line-up. You even get a $5 credit when ou link a Roku to your Amazon account.

Yes, the Amazon app is the same app for all of the Roku player Models (Both the previous models and the third gen, or as Roku is calling them Roku 2s). Prime is available if you pay the ~$79 a year for the service.
Without Prime, you can still rent Amazon VOD to rent or buy Movies or TV shows. I use Amazon VOD myself on the Roku. There is a section in the Amazon App (Channel) on the Roku for Prime users (I don't use prime but the button is there regardless).

I just went to the product page suggested above - http://www.roku.com/roku-products?gclid=CNOSsMSXqKwCFcoQNAodvhbG_Q

and clicked on Amazon and it does say that it includes Amazon Prime. I needed the same information so was glad to see it. Am going to order today.

See the odd thing is that Amazon has two different kinds of delivery - Amazon Instant Video and Amazon Prime Instant Video are TWO DIFFERENT things.

I can get "Amazon Instant Video" on my Tivo HD, but I cannot get the Amazon Prime Instant Video on my Tivo HD. This was a surprise to me. I signed up for Prime, could not get the stream and I actually talked on the phone to a live person who said 'no, the Amazon Prime Instant Video will not stream to a Tivo HD". Netflix works just fine.

So before I would order this, I'd like to know that it will do the PRIME Instant Video.

The LT is the same as the HD model with the exceptions being it does not have the memory expansion slot or bluetooth remote capability.... thus is a mere $10 cheaper.
Its product page is at:

From the CNET review at :
http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-57319705-1/roku-lt-review-killer-$50-streaming-media-box/
"The Roku LT supports the same list of channels as Roku's more expensive models, including Netflix, Amazon Instant, Hulu Plus, Pandora, MLB.TV, MOG, Rdio, and HBO Go, along with tons of additional niche content. We even like the remote control better than the one that comes with the Roku 2 XS, appreciating its simpler layout and fingerprint-resistant matte finish."

Also from the Roku Blog at:
http://blog.roku.com/blog/2011/10/11/introducing-roku-lt-and-a-sneak-peek-at-hbo-go/

"The LT is everything you expect from a Roku player - a ton of entertainment, simple to use and a snap to set up. It looks very similar to the Roku 2 family, streams all 320 channels and carries the familiar award-winning Roku interface. The LT offers high-definition at 720p via HDMI, it also features built-in wireless (b/g/n) and sports an A/V output for standard definition, so it will run on the new and the not-so-new TVs."

All of the Roku 2's do subtitle support for the new Netflix subtitle feature.
